More New Things!!
After a few weeks of sorting things out over here, Johnny and I have finally settled in Dublin. We now have a new place to live and we both have new jobs! Yay!
Our home is a lovely apartment in the center of Dublin city which we share with another couple. The apartment is really new and modern with an open-plan living room/dining room/kitchen area and nice bedrooms. We are even lucky enough to get an ensuite bathroom in ours! Despite being five minutes walk from the very heart of the city, the apartment is really quiet both during the day and at night, making home a peaceful place to live.
The couple that we are sharing the apartment with are Kirsi and Sami, from Finland. We met them whilst looking at another place to live and decided to team up and find a place together. They are lovely and we are all getting along well.
My new job is a permanent one and it is only 15 minutes walk from home! I don’t have to get up for work until after 8am! Yay! I am working as a personal assistant to a solicitor in a small firm. I just started on Monday and although it is a very busy role, it seems to be going okay so far.
Johnny started his role at Vodafone last week and as you can see from the previous post he is settling in there well.
So now that we are settled we are starting to plan our next trips… there are so many cheap flights over here that the options are endless! We are also hoping to have visitors over at different stages over the next year so if anyone is planning on coming to Dublin let us know!
