fun fun fun weekend :-)
So first of all, shame on all ya guys in NZ for not turning up to our flatwarming pawty after all da fuss :-D Anyway, we had a blast! Kirsi & Sami baked lotsa chocolate cake with Skittles on them (she thought they were M&Ms hehe) and we had people from allova da world (we had Slovak, Irish, Finnish, Kiwis, South African, I think thats it... I have a horrible feeling that I left someone out tho...). After the party we decided to head out to this newly refurbished nightclub call la Dolce Villa for a pint. It was really posh inside, leatha chairs and stuff. I suppose that almost justifies them charging 5.10Euros for a pint! phaaaa
Sunday was a slow start. We managed to pull ourselves up and went and met Rebecca's 2nd cousins - the Dolans, Eugene & Clare - mum & dad but not in that order, Aunty Mary - Clare's mother, their sons/daughter Jack, Jenny & Tom and Striker da cat - out in Dun Laoghaire for a gourmet lunch. They have a lovely house - I really liked the kitchen :-). We had lots of fun going through photos of Rebecca's grandparents when they were 20 something, talking about stories of people being gassed on trains & this strange relative that gave an outstanding performance of stripping his shirt off doing the Haka etc :-D
