Australia Day!

To lots of people's surprise, we went along to the Australia Day party at the local OZ pub on Wednesday. It used to be called The Outback but recently it had to change its name because of an America based restaurant chain called The Outback Steakhouse- or something like that - threatened to sue unless they changed their name. Anyway, so it's called the Woolshed now, sounds silly.

Anywho, Rebecca and I had a great night! As soon as we walked into the pub it felt like home... dunno what it was but everyone just looked OZ or Kiwi. Rebecca even got a bit emotional when she saw a Polynesian :-) because you don't see many in Ireland.

Unfortunately we didn't stay till midnight to see the Wet T-Shirt competition though I know I could've gone far in it had I stayed :-D

Oh! if any of you are thinking of coming this way on an OE and need to send stuff over by sea, remember to to it early! I sent my last September and it only just arrived last week! Plan early!
