Home Sweet Home!

Well, there isn't a cloud in the sky this morning, it is lovely and warm and I am feeling very happy to be home. Not that I am not loving living overseas but that, in the words of Dorothy: "there is no place like home".

It feels weird yet strangely normal to be back in New Zealand with all my family and friends. Life seems to be pretty much the same as it ever was and it is great to see that some things don't change.

The last couple of flights home were relatively uneventful and I have discovered that my cure for not being able to sleep on the plane is to take a travel-sickness tablet and then a glass of wine and I am out to it for quite a while! I actually managed to sleep fairly well and now am only suffering very slight effects of jet-lag! If I can just stop waking up at 6am I'll be fine!

So I have a busy few weeks ahead of me but if anyone over here is keen to meet up with me then just let me know as I would love to see everyone! I have my old NZ mobile number which you can get by e-mailing me if you don't have it already.
