The World has Gone Mad!

You know that the world must be going crazy when people are complaining that it is almost too HOT in Ireland!!! Since early last week we have had nothing but blue skies and warm temperatures - today is about 26c outside which is very unusual for Ireland!

Don't get me wrong though, I am most definitely not complaining about this heat spell! It is fantastic and we are making the most of it while we can. I have been spending almost all of my lunch hours lying in the park with a sandwich and on Saturday I went to a BBQ during which we sat outside the whole time and basked in the warm evening light. Today Johnny has gone for a drive up to Cavan for work - a trip which I am sure will be a pleasant one as he gets to see a lot of the Irish countryside in all it's glory!

P.S. Go the All Blacks this weekend! We will be watching from the pub in the early hours of Saturday morning - the only place we will be able to find it on!
