Flying visit to Madrid

Monday night, 6:30pm flight Dublin-Madrid
Monday night, 10:30pm, checked in at the hotel
Tuesday night, 7:05pm, flight Madrid-Dublin
Tuesday night, 10:30pm, arrived back at home

My new job can be up to 50% traveling I was told at the start & Monday marked my first trip. Hellishly short but still counted. I can't say I saw much but I really didn't realise how much I had missed the sun. Even just being in the taxi looking out the window, walking about in the sun, sitting outside in the shade for lunch was just sooo nice... such a change from the rainy Dublin I'd become accustomed to - we've had rain for the last few weeks (see our previous blog re MISSING AD). Actually, while I was onsite, I came within inches of being kept there until Friday because of the work that needed to be done. Of course me having no Spanish & not packed for 4 days was glad the Project Manager was convinced otherwise.

Next Trip : Vienna, Wednesday 18th. Duration : 3 days.
