I'm 12+28-5+9-12-2 !!

In simple terms, I'm 30!! sweet bejaysus!!

After 30 years of being on this Earth I'm actually quite liking the fact that I'm now in a new decade. Slowly and slowly, my body is starting to catch up to my mental age of an old man. Finally I don't have to feel bad for falling as sleep at midnight and having sore joints!!

Last weekend, Rebecca organised the absolute perfect weekend away in Donegal to celebrate my birthday. We drove up on Friday night to Harvey's Point hotel which is set on Lough Eske (Lake Eske) in Donegal. We spent the weekend taking it relatively easy, lying in and relaxing for most of it. We did however, keep up our Marathon training schedule and went out for a 10 mile run around the lake which was absolutely exhausting in the heat and the humidity.

Other than that, the weekend was full of presents as Rebecca had organised 7 presents to give me over the weekend. To top it all up my lovely wife also baked me a yummy chocolate cake which we had on the way back as we parked on a hill overlooking a beach in Sligo.

So all in all, yay I am 30. Turning 30 is loads of fun I would thoroughly recommend it - especially the chocolate cake part!! Thanks to my lovely wife for organising this fanatstic weekend!!
